THE FOUNDATION CLOSED ACTIVITIES in DECEMBER 2025.
MISSION
The Chilean-American Foundation was established in 1972 in Washington, D.C., United States with the mission of funding programs that help children in socio-economic vulnerability in Chile in order to develop their talents, strengthen their self esteem and gain confidence to confront life challenges.
VISION
To support the access to tools and proper educational opportunities to vulnerable boys, girls and adolescents in order for them to grow the potential of their life aspirations.
HOW WE DO IT
Every year we selected, from a competition call, programs led by nonprofit organizations in Chile that offer educational activities complementary to the regular school curriculum for these children and adolescents in a scope and duration that would bring them significant benefits.
